The ConsumerMedical Clinical Leadership Team provides oversight and innovative direction for our clinical teams, ensuring access to the highest quality medical expertise and most current, evidence-based guidance for our members.


Randy K. Hawkins, M.D., FACHE

Randy leads predictive analytics, product innovation, and technology-enabled solution design at ConsumerMedical. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, who brings 27 years of experience in healthcare and industry to ConsumerMedical. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer of Connance, Inc., Executive Vice President & Chief Medical Information Officer at Glytec and Chief Medical Information Officer at PatientKeeper. Dr. Hawkins holds a degree in biochemistry from Dartmouth College and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Following his service as a Medical Officer in the United States Navy, Dr. Hawkins completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville.


Jessica Hennessey, DNP, RN, PNP-BC, CMPE

Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations

Jessica leads the clinical operations at ConsumerMedical. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and healthcare administrator with a track record of exceeding patient care standards through the strategic application of state-of-the-art technology, patient-focused service and lean management practices. Prior to joining ConsumerMedical, Jessica held COO roles at New England Center for Healthy Minds as well as Allergy West and Pediatrics West.  Earlier in her career, she was CEO of Pediatric and Adolescent Health Associates.

Cindi Slater

Cindi A. Slater, M.D., FACR

Dr. Cindi Slater leads our physician staff and is responsible for our clinical strategy. She received her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Slater has been a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and practiced internal medicine and urgent care at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston for over 20 years.


Gerard Blobe, M.D., PhD

Dr. Gerry Blobe is a Professor of Medicine, Pharmacology and Cancer Biology at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He is a medical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal cancers.



Brent Hanks, M.D. PhD

Dr. Brent Hanks is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine and the Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, North Carolina. He is a medical oncologist specializing in advanced skin cancers including melanoma and manages a research program in tumor immunotherapy.



James Wisler, M.D.

Dr. James Wisler is an Instructor of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. He is a cardiologist specializing in aortic and peripheral vascular disease.



Natalie Fekete, LMHC, PMHNP-BC

Natalie Fekete, LMHC, PMHNP-BC is board certified as a family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and a licensed mental health counselor. She received her Master’s of Science in Counseling at Northeastern University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Boston College. She has a special interest in mood disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Bridgette Christophe 01

Bridgette Christopher, M.D. PhD.

Bridgette Christopher, M.D. PhD is a physician board certified in Cardiology at the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. Her clinical interest is general and preventative cardiology, and she also investigates heart metabolism at the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute. She received her M.D. and PhD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Madeline Gartner 01

Madeline Gartner, M.D.

Madeline Gartner, M.D. is a general surgeon with extensive experience who has specialized in breast cancer and other breast issues for over 22 years in the Minneapolis area. She is now focusing on patient education and support and has relocated to California. Dr Gartner received her MD from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. She began her residency at Brown University and finished at the University of Minnesota, having followed her lab mentor there. The molecular biology of wound healing was the focus of her 4 years of research during residency. Dr. Gartner is passionate about learning, teaching and communication.

Lawrence Byrd 01

Lawrence Byrd – M.D., FACP

Lawrence Byrd – M.D., FACP, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Medical College of Pennsylvania, trained at Rutgers and Cornell, and has been on the faculty at both. He has practiced nephrology and hypertension in NJ for many years, has published and taught in his areas of expertise. He enjoys the gratification of clinical problem-solving in helping patients feel better.

Kristy Reinert 01

Kristy Reinert, M.D.

Kristy Reinert, M.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. She currently practices at the Corporal Michael J Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Her clinical interest is in the care of complex hospitalized patients and the medical comanagement of patients undergoing surgery. She received her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Maureen DiNapoli 01

Maureen DiNapoli BSN, RN, MS, CPNP

Maureen received her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College in 1991 and her Master of Science Degree from Northeastern University in 2002. She is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Maureen has over 25 years of nursing experience in multiple disciplines of direct patient care, including cancer care, intensive care, pediatrics and primary care, among others. Maureen has been involved in providing teaching and guidance to nursing students in undergraduate as well as graduate programs and has acted as adjunct faculty for local nursing programs. Maureen is a member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She joined the ConsumerMedical team in clinical quality improvement and nurse education in 2018. She is impressed with the mission of the company and excited to be part of this team.

Danielle Dos Santos 01

Danielle Dos Santos, RN, OCN, MBA

Danielle is the Director of Clinical Operations overseeing the Nurse Ally and Research Ally teams. She is an Oncology Certified Nurse with over ten years of clinical experience in adult neuro- and general oncology, as well as hospice, palliative care, and case management. Her role focuses on aligning clinical quality with existing systems to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to ConsumerMedical’s customers and participants. Prior to joining ConsumerMedical, Danielle held clinical and finance roles at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Partners Healthcare, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Melissa Forchielli DeMars

Melissa Forchielli DeMars, MSN, APRN-BC

Melissa DeMars received her Master of Science in Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Melissa’s nursing career spans 15+ years in a variety of settings and specialties, including Neurology, Emergency Medicine and Primary Care. Melissa previously held adjunct faculty positions at several renowned Boston Nursing Schools. She joined the ConsumerMedical team in 2018 to assist with Clinical Quality Improvement and Nurse Education. Melissa is a member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and the Obesity Medicine Association.
